How Origin’s AI-Enabled Investment Dashboard Helps You Maximize Your Money

Whether you’re an advanced investor or you’re just getting started, our new investing tools equip you with the information you need to understand your portfolio, and make decisions that are aligned with your goals and priorities. Our powerful new AI models give you access to real-time market news, and take all of your information and preferences into account when developing guidance customized just for you. 

Introduced as part of our revamped suite of AI-first products, we’re excited to help you get to know all that we have to offer when it comes to investing. Let’s dive deeper into what’s new:

‍Invest Overview

Clicking on the Invest tab brings you to our new Overview dashboard, which gives you a complete, real-time view of your investments across all accounts. There’s no shortage of ways to explore your portfolio with various charts, overviews, and ways to customize what you see: 

  • Overview graph with comparisons: See the full value of your portfolio over a range of time periods, and compare to popular indices or other types of equities. 
  • Quick balance estimates: Understand how current market moves might be impacting your total holdings with a live balance estimate (with an on/off toggle, depending on your preferences). 
  • Instant Insights everywhere: Tap the ✦ button in the top right corner of any widget to get detailed information on what exactly has changed in your portfolio. See why the value of your holdings might have dropped, or why there might be shifts in asset allocation. 
  • Market Recaps: Along with Daily Market Briefs available on the main dashboard, you can see AI-powered summaries of relevant market news updated throughout the day.
  • AI Advisor: Our chat function can answer detailed questions about your investments, and will remember these conversations for future guidance. 

Holdings‍

The Holdings tab provides you with a straightforward, easy-to-understand chart of how all your stocks, bonds, and crypto assets are performing. It includes everything from the total value of your holding, the share price, any associated costs, and the average return in both percentages and real dollar figures. 

Plus, you can customize the data display. Want to visualize more granular data when it comes to some of your holdings? Quickly toggle things like share price, average costs, or return in % — and turn on Pro View to see even more ways to view your portfolio.

Market Watch

Think of the Market Watch tab as your personalized market search engine and news source. Up top, you can search for any specific stocks, cryptos, or ETFs — or you can scroll down and take a look at all the info automatically prepared for you, including:

  • How individual stock market indexes are performing
  • Plain English summaries of the news stories impacting the markets right now
  • The status of the stocks on your customizable watchlist 
  • Sector-wide market performance 
  • Which earnings calls are coming up 
  • How popular cryptocurrencies are faring.

Daily Market Briefs 

We know that staying on top of how (and why) the markets are moving can be overwhelming — especially when you want to understand how those shifts affect your financial picture. Now you can get that information right on your Origin dashboard: Daily Market Brief is your personalized market pulse that gives you the day’s key finance news, jargon-free.
