Promotional Interest Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to participation in Origin’s Cash Management Account (the “Account”)  Promotional Rate Offer (the “Promotion”). Under this Promotion, eligible clients can receive an increased Annual Percentage Yield (APY) on newly opened Accounts for a duration of 90 days, subject to the terms outlined below.

Eligibility and Participation

  • Eligible Participants: This Promotion is open to both new and existing users of Origin. To qualify, participants must:

    • Have an active Origin account.

    • Not be an existing Account holder.

    • Not receive Origin through the user’s employer.

    • Open a new Account during the Promotion period.

    • Fund the Account within 30 days of opening.

  • Promotional Period: The increased APY applies from the date of the Account opening and continues for 90 days thereafter.

Promotion Details

  • Increased APY: Eligible Accounts will receive a boosted APY at an additional 0.5% increase over the standard base APY then in effect, with the maximum boosted rate, during the Promotional Period, compared to the standard variable APY.

  • Maximum Balance: The promotional APY applies to balances up to $50,000 per Account. Balances above this amount will accrue interest at the standard variable APY.

  • Interest Calculation: Interest is calculated based on the average daily balance of the Account during the Promotional Period and is credited at the end of the Promotional Period.

  • Variable APY: The standard and promotional APYs are variable rates that may change at Origin's discretion at any time without prior notice. This applies to all Account balances, whether within the promotional limit or above it.

Additional Terms

  • Account Closure: If the Account is closed before the end of the Promotional Period, accrued interest at the promotional rate will not be paid.

  • Multiple Accounts: Each participant is eligible for the promotional rate on one Account only. Opening multiple Accounts will not qualify for additional promotional interest.

  • Modification and Termination: Origin reserves the right to modify or terminate this Promotion, including modifying the boosted APY rate, at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately and may affect ongoing participation.

  • Disqualification: Origin reserves the right to disqualify any participant from the Promotion if it determines, in its sole discretion, that fraudulent activity or abuse of the Promotion terms has occurred. In such cases, Origin may reverse any credited interest related to the Promotion.

  • Tax Liability: All federal, state, and local taxes associated with the receipt of any promotional interest are the sole responsibility of the participant.

Miscellaneous

  • No Guarantee of Account Opening: Participation in the Promotion does not guarantee that a Cash Account will be opened for any particular person. Origin may accept or reject any application for an Account at its sole discretion.

  • Exclusions: Employees of Origin and its subsidiaries are not eligible to participate in this Promotion. This Promotion cannot be combined with other offers, except as specifically permitted by Origin.
